September gone has been such a magical time here on the beachfront we just had to share it with you! Alongside the ever wonderful annual Laytown Strand Races we also had the spectacular 2017 European Sand Yacht Championships taking place just beyond the cottage gates!
We hope you are all having a good year so far. With the blue bells, tulips and apple blossom all in full bloom at The Cottages, spring is definitely excelling herself this year.

It’s October! and we hope all is good with you! We’re having a superb Indian Summer, warm sunny days, wonderfully high tides, lots of colour still in the gardens, the butterflies are having a ball so all is well with our world.
The Camassia are looking wonderful at the moment loving the sunshine and showers! This striking 2′ to 3′ flowering bulb is the perfect colour bridge for this time of year, flowering just as the tulips are finishing and before the early summer colour starts. They are easy to grow and multiply quite quickly producing a really striking show.
