Over and above the Boyne Valley Garden Trail there are some truly stunning gardens here in Ireland’s Ancient East, both North, South and West  of The Cottages. Some of our favourites are Ardan Garden in Howth, Helen Dillon’s Garden in Dublin, Mount Stewart to the North and Mount Usher to the South. June Blake’s garden is a really special tapestry of colour and of course her brother, the iconic Jimi Blake’s garden at Huntingbrook is we think the Jewel in the crown of Irish gardens. All of these and many more are here to be explored and enjoyed, and all are within easy reach of The Cottages and the list is growing by the day.
