We’ve had such a busy winter with great results for your added comfort and pleasure. Honeymoon Cottage now has a beautiful new garden room and dining area making this our most loved and popular cottage!
In Garden Cottage we’ve added a new dining area to the bay window which gives the most immersive garden experience while dining. A little slice of heaven!

We’re so proud of all the wonderful food offerings right here in the Boyne Valley and they just keep getting better. Whet your appetite on the Boyne Valley Food Series. Check out their Events Guide with 40 unique foodie events, there really is something for everyone.
The Eastern Seaboard has always been a firm favourite with our guests and recently it has been gaining even more accolades, making it into the McKenna’s Guide to the top 100 restaurants in Ireland.
The Lime Kiln Gastro Pub in our neighbouring village of Julianstown have opened their delightful new ‘Pantry’ shop with bakery and off licence premises. Lot’s of tasty treats both sweet and savoury, wonderful for summer picnics and barbecue delights.
Fifty4 Seafood Restaurant has opened in Drogheda promising to keep all you fish lovers, ourselves included, extra happy! Many years of experience makes the Kirwan family team a sure winner.
Returning to the art of whiskey on the ancestral grounds of Slane Castle, the Mount Charles family will be opening their new Whiskey Distillery & Visitors Centre in July. Located in the 18th century stable yard this promises to be yet another special addition to the Boyne Valley tourist experience.

The big news for 2018 is that Drogheda is to host Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, a huge honour that is justly deserved. This is the largest annual celebration of Irish music and culture in the world attracting over 400,000 visitors. This amazing week long event runs from 12th – 19th August 2018 and will feature workshops for young musicians, competitions, concerts, céili’s alongside a whole host of fun and craic.
